Recent rumours from China have it that Apple is currently facing some difficulty in trying to place the Face ID sensor array under the screen. According to rumours, the company has been working on effectively doing away with the Dynamic Island, but in the process, it ends up leaving the camera sensor hole-punched into the screen.
However, if the rumours turn out to be true, it simply means that the Dynamic Island remains, even in the upcoming iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max. It will remain, even if Apple shrinks the island.
Apple is still far from a proper full-screen experience without interruptions. It requires more effort to bring about a positive and favourable effect.
