Apple isn’t focused on making any huge upgrades to the iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max. According to Weibo tipster, Fixed Focus Digital, the new iPhones will get new colour options instead.
iPhone 18 Pro doesn’t get any design change
Now, colours. There are rumours that Apple is exploring a new “deep red” finish. Others suggest we’ll still see the Cosmic Orange finish, the reason for the massive sales of iPhone 17 in China.
We initially thought we would get a true black iPhone, but a recent report doesn’t hold out any hope in that direction. The iPhone 17 Pro and Pro Max launched in Cosmic Orange, Deep Blue, and Silver. We’re not certain if Apple will launch the successors in three colours too, add or replace any of them. By September we’ll know.
This year, we’re only expecting two flagship models from Apple, the iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max. We’ll get the base model next year. Apple’s first foldable iPhone will also make its debut this year. We’ll probably have to wait until 2027 for Apple to release a fully redesigned model. That will be the iPhone’s 20th anniversary, so Apple will definitely do something big to commemorate it.
